The TAMHN Mentorship Program

At a recent Summit, one of our Network speakers coined a beautiful phrase for what Aggies do after graduation:  We lift as we climb.  There are so many success stories and insight that our former students can share with current students.  Many of our current Aggies are first generation students that are navigating the college experience with limited guidance.   The Network sees that is as an opportunity bring together current and former students to help light a path toward success through informal mentoring.  With TAMHN membership comprised of Former Students across the world in all areas of business, science, community leadership and academia (and everything in between!) there is no shortage of advice, encouragement and inspiration.  We look to pair mentors with student of similar interest and backgrounds. TAMHN MENTORS:
Making a Difference

Do you remember what is was like navigating through college and trying to figure out your potential career path? Maybe you too were a first generation college student. So mom, dad and friends from back home may not have had all the answers. That is the case for many Hispanic students on campus today. What if there was a way to connect experienced, former students with current students to provide guidance, encouragement and career path exposure? There is! We are kicking off a mentoring program between the TAMHN and current students in 2019. We are in the process of matching interested mentors with mentees who signed up at Bienvenidos A Aggieland. If you are interested in participating as a mentor, fill out the forms below.

We may not have found a match for you in the last round of pairings, but we have saved your information and look forward to reaching out to you when an applicable match is available. At this time, we “round up” mentees once a year (in August, at the campus’ Bienvenidos A Aggieland Event). Stay tuned! We may be reaching out to you soon!
